Old Silk Route Sikkim
Silk Route located in the lap of Eastern Himalaya which is a unique and one of the best tourist attractions place in east Sikkim. The China-Pak Economic Corridor (CPEC) could be the reason for the cheering of recent Silk Route. Not so long time ago Chinese traders used to travel to the Asian country through India crossing the border to sell silk and there by the area has been named Silk Route. The old silk route joins the Tibetan capital of Lhasa.
Old Silk Route is very nearer to India and China border Nathu La | pass which is reachable from Gangtok .There is only one wire barrier that divides the border, during our Sikkim Old Silk route package you'll get a great excitement at looking on the opposite side of the border or obtaining the ability to witness the Chinese troopers. Only Indians, fortunately, are allowed to visit this place and that too merely on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Weekends. However to visit this place one must obtain the necessary permission from Gangtok Indian Army office.

Day 01: NJP/Bagdogra to Nimachen / Padamchen / Zuluk
Pick-up from NJP and transfer to Nimachen 5 hrs (170 km) . En-route visit Rongli , Quekhola water falls, Lingtam. Overnight at Nimachen / Padamchen
Day 02: Old Silk Route sightseeing
